The Hotel RIMINI in Rome, is a high quality three stars hotel which belong to the same family since the 1949.
The Hotel Rimini is ubicated in an 800s palace bulding which have been builded by the noble family of Prince Cesarini-Sforza.
This palace was used as "country home" by the Princes in the early 800, than with the growing of the city of Rome it become a Trading Post station, ubicated just at the gates of town. Here was opened a little Inn-guest house, than in the early 900 some part of the bulding that at the time was 4 floors only, become private houses and apartments were sold to the former Family Cesarini-Sforza workers.
In the 1927 a private investor coming from Rimini opened the first guest house at the first floor of the palace
In the 1949 Cataldo and Carmelo Alessi, two brthers coming from Sicily, horses traders visited the hotel.The town of Rimini, in Emilia Romagna region, was in their hearts, as famous for the International Horse Fair Market.
So it was a "first-sight" love with the Hotel...
In 1950 three floors was added to the palace bulding and the Pension Rimini was moved to the 5th floor. In the 1955 it was the first palace in the zone to have a private lift.
After 20 years the reception of the RIMINI come back to the first floor.
Today after a total restyling work, which mantained the historical imprinting of the palace, the new HALL have been moved again at the ground floor.
Family Alessi own the hotel since more than 60 years putting their love and their experience in the Rome Turism and hospitality industry.....
